Ok...so my wife and I visited here and ordered a few different dishes which were all absolutely delicious! I had the Grouper fillet with asparagus and grits and my wife had fried chicken with mash. They give you some really good portions here and the food is very tasty. We had a server who was nice and despite it being a bit busy she stayed on point with the tables and made sure that we never wanted for anything while there. We definitely enjoyed eating here and will definitely return. Thank you for a great experience!
Let me say that the Server was was one point. She came and greeted everyone with a smile and answered all our questions. The fish tacos were really good. The fish was lightly fried and the fresh jalapenos were a nice touch of heat. The calamari fried just right. The drinks were refreshing. The atmosphere was great with the large open Bay doors. I will be going back again.
Great atmosphere. Food was delicious! The Fried green tomatoes were juussst right!! Not greasy at all. The Nashville Hot Chicken was just the right amount of heat to enjoy the flavor without the fire-per my husband! The shrimp tacos had excellent flavor, the sauce was a bit spicy for my wimpy self, but dabbed off easily and I loved them! The waiter (sorry didn't catch his name), also the bartender, provided some of the best, if Not the best, service we have received. He had NO PROBLEM with special request to leave jalapenos off my tacos. He also was VERY knowledgeable about the menu and was spot on with his descriptions of the food and offered to heat more or lessen per our request!! Last, but not least! The Mexican Corn was to die for! My husband said it was okay- but it had a touch of grilled onions in it and he doesn't like onions! For me, it was the best! His beers were cold ! We should have split a plate, soooo much food!
Fantastic food and service. We came for lunch on Saturday and had an amazing time. Food was fresh and on time. Our server was friendly and answered all our questions. Bar area is gorgeous and the view from the second floor is the cherry on top!! It’s been on my list to visit here for a bit, so happy we finally made it! We got mimosas, chips and salsa, the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and the chicken Caesar salad!
I've gone to The Martin's for lunch once a day week for two years. Daryl is the awesome, the wings are the best in Huntsville and it isn't even close. Shout out to Nick on Nights, he's the best bartender and Alaina whom I've met maybe 10x for the first time.
We had an early dinner here today. It's an interesting place. The food was very good. I had the cheeseburger and my wife had the fried shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly. Alaina, our server was great. I'm sure we'll be back.
Neat place on the second floor just of the square. I have stopped in a couple times on previous visits to Huntsville. Food Service and Atmosphere makes this a destination in Huntsville.
"You had me at Apple candied Bacon...!" Met an ol' college buddy for lunch and wanted to find one of Huntsville's unique, downtown eateries. I had seen The Martin's upstairs "Bistro and Bar" from their open 'garage' door window from across the street at the VA office. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sporting event from. I ordered the "Marti" BLT...and can now say it's the best BLT I've ever had; Apple candied Bacon with fried green tomatoes, with guacamole and topped with a fried egg! Each bite brought a new and distinct flavor, which made the quite large sandwich, soon disappear. The bartender was also the waiter during lunch and did a good job taking care of everyone. If you're downtown and need a fairly quick but unique lunch, give it a shot.
